Albion Players should be LOCKED from cancelling

As much fun as the “sit at the auction house pulling items down and putting them back up 2 silver less to undercut the guy who just undercut you” game is, it’s also important to have time to do other things in the game.

Players should be LOCKED from cancelling Buy/Sell Albion Online Gold orders for at least two hours.

This will save everyone the trouble of having the check the auction house every 5 minutes to ensure their giant stack of items wasn’t immediately undercut by 1 silver. It will prevent people from pulling down their items the moment they see someone sell something lower than them. It will nearly eliminate AH camping, encouraging people to leave town and actually experience everything else Albion has to offer.

And yes, I too have accidently put something up at a ridiculously low price by missing a zero or whatever, so I have no problems with adding a one minute grace time where you can cancel any buy/sell order before it becomes locked in, in case you make a mistake.

First of all, congratulations for developing an amazing game.
I came with a suggestion.
Everybody understands why the character cant move with too much weigth. Its not a problem. But its very boring when you have to ride the ox only to move a few meters or inches. You can develop a system when the character with to much weight riding a ox can down the ox, leaving the weight to Buy Albion Online Gold. The ox will stay in that place and character will be able to move in a normal speed only in a area of a few meters around the ox. The character will have access to all the itens on the ox. If the character wants to move forward that area, he will need to ride on the ox again. It will resolve the problems in the farm and collecting resourses.

Riders of Icarus: who swear to bypass the censor

If adults choose to swear, it is not your place to say that they can’t. I understand why you would want such a filter for your younger players, but grown adults who choose to swear should not be coddled and should have the option to choose whether they want swear words filtered or not.

Adults will choose to swear regardless of whatever filters exist in the game, all a censor does is give motive for people who swear to bypass the Cheap Riders of Icarus Gold, which is why it should be entirely optional as it is in many other games. This way any perceived benefits of a filter can remain in tact for those who might hypothetically benefit from it, whilst others will not have the incentive to try and bypass a filter as there will be none on their end. All parties benefit.

Wouldn’t a kid be complaining about swear words and want a filter??? Trust me, I’ve encountered a bunch of kids complaining about swear words.

I said a few and some kid was all like “you can’t say those words, I’m not allowed to say them so you shouldn’t say them”. Of course, with terrible grammar instead.

I like what you are saying, OP. The filter should be optional not mandatory. People are just going to bypass it, like you said, and it filters out words that aren’t even bad (at least most filters do with Riders of Icarus Gold). Like assumption becomes ******** in some instances where there is a filter. Not sure about the one in game. I’ll have to test it out.

Filters tend to go one of two ways: The first way is they censor a few known words and variants and people find the words that aren’t censored or they find unconventional ways of spelling them. ( 3 as “e”, @ as “a” for example.) This means that the filter is barely effective at stopping swearing when people are determined to swear. Swearing is a form of expression and when people feel their expression is being surpressed they will find alternative ways to express themselves. Including bypassing the filter so they can say vulgar things for whatever reason.

The second way is they go overboard, (such as the filters in games like Roblox) censoring entire statements because part of the statement might have an expletive or a word that could incite controversial topics, such as the word “jewish” which leads to a dysfunctional chat that looks like a bunch of people spamming “###########”, at which point there is no reason to have a chat system at all.

Making the censor optional is always the best route, as it keeps the censor in place for overbearing parents who want their children coddled with Icarus Gold, whilst allowing adults to communicate as adults do to one another without incentivising people to bypass the censor in order to do so. Nexon’s current system just reeks of ignorance.

Albion Online: “most of the trade happens”

There is a lot of T5 materials trading going on in Smoky Bay for the simple reason that it is one of only two places in the game world that T5 gems and runes are generated. This naturally leads certain mid tier guilds to get more Albion Online Silver. And it naturally makes Smoky Bay and Brinkwold the places where gems and runes are cheapest.

In the cities near/in red territory, you will see more trade on T5 items and above. Again for a very simple reason: This is where people need high tier gear.

Most people misunderstand the flow of trade. They do this because they simply haven’t taken any sort of effort to think about how it all works: where materials are generated and where they are needed.

You don’t know where “most of the trade happens” simply because you can probably only craft T4-T5 gear. Try selling an 8.3 weapon in Kingsmarket. It won’t sell as easily there as it will in Heathenburgh.

Packages would solve the fast travel issue without removing it so long as the rewards for the trade tree were worth it and the cost of fast-travelling with goods was increased Albion Online Gold. Another help for fast-travel would be giving a heavy discount for equipped items when fast-travelling but making it so an equipped item cannot be sold (Either permanently after equpping, i.e. Soulbound, or for an hour after being unequipped). This would allow travelling for non-trade purposes but make trade travel far more economical by land.

Apart from this they need to make resources more abundant in different areas and dungeons for better trade. Certain areas of the map could have more resource spawns than others and certain dungeon monsters could have more of some runes and less of others.

The downside is how many people will put up with over-expensive fast travel when wanting to adventure when so many other games offer less downtime.

Currently this game does not have enough sandbox content that travel in itself is fun. You can’t set out to have an adventure because all the content in the game is gated by tiers and you generally pass content that you either out-level, under-level or simply is Albion Online Items
. If getting somewhere in itself was an experience we wouldn’t need fast travel at all.

Increasing the fast travel cost will simply mean everyone stays in the hub cities and never bothers to go anywhere else. Especially if all auction houses have the same tax and the cheapest stuff remains in the hubs too.

Albion Online: the economy is interesting

Had it in mind when playing the game on first day after some reading about zones. It will be an interesting implementation to intrigue the game system. I remember reading Players profile can flag to either to be friendly or hostile to Buy Albion Online Silver. If the player flag friendly but his actions was the opposite of his profile flag. Then, he will be a wanted man once he enter the main city. To be thrown into jail. This would probably have players who committed crimes with intent to stay out of the city or maybe form a thief guild. I don’t know. Just a thought.

yeah. Adding to that, the economy is interesting, i can see the gold value or currency fluctuate in the market like stocks

I already like the game to the extent i supported you guys by buying the beta version which i don’t do it. My initial concern was P2W structure. As i would always like to remind Good developers and games that i love not to fall into that system as oppose to the nature of hardcore and serious gamers that would like to achieve something that takes from skills not by paying to win. Naturally, you will get the support from serious gamers. We will support you if the game is not designed to p2w. It is very important. Like introducing skins or some other stuff. Games like dota & vainglory and mabinogi duel. I have supported even though is free to play and spend some 300+usd to support the game when i see there’s potential in it and not money leeching dev.

The company ‘Kabam’ in apps store. All of their games is free to play but with the structure of p2w. It’s not difficult to realize how the system work someday and once serious gamers discover the game structure with AO Gold. We leave. Many leave and their names is hard to erase from players not to play their games again. Alot of potential game fall for short sighted gains but lose the opportunity to go further and be the best in the market to offer to gamers.

Sorry for the longwinded and out of topic post. But i feel i need to say to you. Even i have been assured by the game news that AO change it’s initial stance on p2w . I read about the dev stance on the game and i have decided to go for it. I hope u guys stand firm on this.

Been logging in actively and actively playing the game. I guess will get more exposure first before giving a substantial feedback. Anyhow, i have last 3 questions at the moment;

1) Toggle movement around the map – at the moment, navigating the heroes movement; per click per designated spot.
Will there be a function in the future for clicking on the map, and the hero will auto move to the designated location?

2) Gathering Resources per click – the design of not having one click one gather all resources is welcomed. But will there be a per click to auto actively gather the resources within a set of time frame? This is to reduce the multiple clicking per gather resources.

*Perhaps the game design in the gathering resources is just right. What’s your thought?

3) Teleportation – The first day i play the game, i realized it’s tedious and a hassle to not have a teleportation mechanic. After giving a serious thought on safe albion online silver. You guys are doing it right. The ship is someway a travelling tools to different cities, not to mention the mount with that ride to get your across the map. So having a teleportation will defeat the purpose of a mount. Unless in a dungeon. You’re doing good.

Albion Online PvP and PvE

In principle, we will keep the distinction between knockdown and kill in place, as it is a crucial component for our upcoming reputation system and it also keeps the experience consistent between PvP and PvE.

Having said that, executing somebody in PvP should not be hard with Albion Online Gold. We absolutely want to make sure that smaller groups of players can execute knocked down players in larger groups without much trouble.

Therefore, we will look into the cast time of the execute ability, make sure that it does not require any energy and also change it in such a way that it is not interrupted by damage. On top of that, we might be adding a passive that you can pick on certain weapons that allows for even faster executes.

core goal of the reputation system (and some other little changes alongside it) is to make yellow and red zones ideal for smaller scale PvP fights, while having the focus of black zones be on guild vs guild and large scale fights and wars. This goes hand in hand with the world map change, where we will drastically increase the number of black zones in the game.

If your only concern is reputation AO Gold system – than players who care about reputation can have knockdown/execution mechanics enabled as an option to not kill someone if they dont want to. But the players who dont care about reputation penalties at all will have an option to always kill opponents they reduced to 0 HP.

Also why keeping consistent experience between PVP and PVE is important? Why is it even a thing? If you want to keep experience consistent Albion Online Silver trading, than why the mobs attack tank with taunt while players dont (unless they are really dense players)?

You are introducing mechanics which hurt PVP(actually also hurt a PVE side, but that cause is lost, i see no point arguing) a lot, and you either cant or just dont want to give any reasons for it. No ‘consistent PVE and PVP experience’ is not a reason. Its just another way to say ’cause we want to’.
