You guys have been talking about this for a couple months now and I think it would brighten my day along with a lot of players if we could see some progress toward the wipe. I know you showed the swamp, but certainly you have some cool drawings or some sort of schematic for the new layout / continents?

Well many systems are fairly populated others are not so populated.it’s only 5000 systems in tjis map. They are all visited and u can have activity in any of these. But if AOSilver really want something that will take 10 years and have only 1% of the map explored, you got to check out elite dangerous 400 billions systems .

Since i quiet in ealry january i follow the panths ao takes and i must say they nearly fixed anything what bottered me at the start of the CB. For example the gear repair, no friendlist and the small map will be fixed soon i hope. So that there are no rundowns for a t3 iron like at the start of the cb where u had to search for everykind of ressource.

What is the point of this argument.
Yes, yes, we all know that the game is still in testing. AO Silver
were also lead to believe that the game was much closer to release than it actually is. I know for a fact I didn’t want to drop $100 to beta test a game for a year and have to keep up premium (it is required if you don’t want to be wasting your time clicking rocks) for the entire time on my own dime.

I paid $100 and thought the beta test would last 3 months and initially the price for premium with in game money was a non-issue. The extension of beta to 10 months broke all of that. The game will likely not come out until 2017 now IMO. I need to see some evidence of success before I invest any more time or money into it.

1. I am a casual player that is not going to grind 1.3 million silver (probably WAY MORE now), just to buy one month of premium status..
Win PvP sell other peoples gear for easy silver!

2. Yes i could buy gold and just buy premium status with gold (much like a monthly sub in most games) and get premium back easily.

The 3 least useful points imo in Blade And Soul

I mean, those last 3 points were basically just the 3 least useful points imo. I try putting 2 more points into lotus fury for +1 second of resist, another point in Tab for grab escape, another point in throwing mine for -1 chi cost, 2 points into bolt strike for re-stealth, etc. None of those are honestly ‘core’ for me in the dark build, so it’s just whatever. As soon as I get my LB HM today, i’m going to shift 2 points into LB hongmoon (can’t decide whether I want more crits or an extra poison stack, i guess i’ll play around with both and see).

I feel like I have too many points and not enough useful things to get R4PG BNS Gold. That will change after I get HM Decoy, but that seems to be a ways away unfortunately.

They are not core ofc yes but 1 point more on poison bomb, 1 in shadowless step and especially the points in lotus are more useful to put into instead of woodblock don’t you think so? Especially tier 3 woodblock…

With the new buff to sin and lightning build becoming stronger, is there much reason that dark build would be stronger? Unless you’re soloing a true vision boss or are taking in a party where a boss has true vision for some reason and can’t stay in stealth, is there much reason to use dark build? Aside from preference ofc. It seems rather difficult to constantly keep 5 stacks of poison up atm so wouldn’t lightning be more consistent if you want to get BNS Power leveling where you weren’t tanking?

Once you get LB HM skill it’s not so difficult anymore.
Also Fighting spirit and soulburn give you free 5 poison stacks.

But other then that I simply prefer it because anicanceling RB+LMB+F seems so much smoother/faster than RB+F+4 (especially in places with more people or more laggs dungeons).

I’m working on my Blade And Soul PvP skills

Got my Poh bopae set and belt. Stuck on progressing my weapons and accessories until Moonwater Transformation Stones become more common (or I pick up the recipe by luck). Will probably just try to save up BNS Gold for the future.

Also working on my PvP skills. Managed to get to 1700~ Elo in 1v1. Feeling pretty good about that. I’m still not good enough to hang with the plats, but I’m working on it. I was in the 1600-ish range during CBT. I feel like the CBT players were generally more skilled than the headstart players have been. Makes sense, since they’re obviously the most dedicated players who likely played the KR/CN/JP/TW versions.

I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. Not to worry, though – I’ll put in the time.

In other news, my BD has managed to steal aggro from absolutely everybody. All reports of weak BD PvE DPS have been overblown. These guys are monsters in the right hands.

Well, PVE wise I am leveling 4 characters together, while doing my usual “lets clear the steam backlog of games” thing, so that’s going ultra slow.
Nothing new there, though. It’s what I normally do.

PVP wise has been pretty easy depending on the classes I’m facing. As Lv 19 Destroyer, I was only a few points from R4PG BNS Gold Store in less than an hour (1v1). But got bored pretty quickly. Destroyer at 19 with almost no skills will do that, though.
So I’ll come back to PVP later on, once I’m more focused on one class.

Blade & Soul: Are Updates Getting Implemented too Fast

Blade & Soul obviously had a greatly delayed arrival to the western regions but does this mean that we want to receive the updates at a much faster rate?

Plenty of players have managed to play Blade & Soul in the past on Asian servers, but I am well convinced that there are also many who decided to wait for the official western release. We have already received the Warlock class update with just a few months after the actual release, and now, the level cap increasing Silverfrost Mountains Expansion has also been announced.

It currently feels slightly like NCSoft is trying to make up for the delay by pumping out all the updates from Korea at an extremely fast rate to Buy BNS Gold. I don’t know about you guys, but I personally like to explore a content fully and I can imagine that players are struggling to max out anything if by the time they are half way, another update makes the previous one quite useless.

My opinion here, will probably be opposed by those who have played on Korean and Chinese servers because they have already seen most of the things that are currently available on the NA and EU servers, but as I mentioned earlier, there are many players for whom this is totally new stuff.

Currently, for me, a level cap increase after just a few months into the game, seems slightly early, but perhaps it might be a vital step due to the amount of balance fixes that the expansion will hopefully bring. Are you guys satisfied with the rate of updates in Blade & Soul, or is it perhaps slightly too fast to handle?

The BNS servers are congested right now

If you’re going to log on only to be go afk for that long then don’t login in the first place. It is common knowledge that the servers are congested right now and that everyone is having issues. To just get in game and sit there is rude.

It is quite literally like going to a restaurant that you know is busy, getting in and waiting around at your table for an hour or two before you get Blade And Soul Gold. One person doing it isn’t that bad, sure.

But when nearly all the customers are doing it, you have a problem. The only people that will get angered over an afk timer are those that are abusing the system without it, so tough shit to them.

Do servers look dead to you, people are waiting hours in a q that could be minutes for everyone because u want to be a dick and take an hour long shower eat /smoke break, guess what if i’m only waiting 5 min in q that means your only waiting 5 min in q instead of me waiting 4 hours in q and you online doing nothing……

works both ways, you wouldn’t have to wait to log back on so go have a shower smoke eat and Cheap BNS Gold ……not seeing the problem

FPS improvement from Blade & Soul(Korea)

Thats one of the ways, theres various solution that so far had no effect on me.

1. Overclock CPU till maximum stable – This is game only uses 2 cores and thus if you have 4 or 6 doesnt make diffirence if 2 used cores have low speed

2. Got to task manager -> processes -> Right click “Client.exe” and set Priority to High

3. True FULLscreen -> In game Teleport from one location to another and while in loading screen press Alt+Enter multiple times until screen flickers – game doesnt run on True full scree to Buy Blade And Soul Gold, rather semi-full screen, that is not very good supported by GPU`s . To know if you are in True fullscreen or not, simply Alt+Tab – game should complitely minimize to dekstop.

4. Windows 7 > Windows 10 – some people believe that Windows 10 itself causes instability in game and is culprit of bad performance -downgrade if you can.

5. Go to Control Panel -> Nvidia control panel -> 3d Options -> 3D Options Managment -> find Power supply managmnet and set it to Maximum Power (can specify only for client.exe” if you want.

7. One user mentioned lag/delay in his game – he traced it back to one of windows services in task manager – svchost -> wuauserv service (responsible for win updates) and disabled it, thats how he solved his problem.

Im gonna try using google translate and apply method listed with Blade & Soul Items, just reinstalled windows to have fully clean system with older drivers, hope it will help.

I love to be an assassin in Blade & Soul

I love this game, as an assassin, It”s the bestest of all. BUT I’m having trouble dealing with NCsoft and the way they deal with there members who have subs, and also those that do not.

I tried buying coin and it went through -deducted my 20 dollars and it”s been 2 days with out any NCCOIN in my game. I put in a ticket that was updated 4 times without a response. Only to check in the morning and it was not there. So I make another ticket saying please at least respond and tell me whats up? Nothing , no word. Now I’m getting disconnects and I cant load Blade n Soul site. I understand its launch and these things happen.

I think since it’s launch and this game is so fun and been hearing about it for the last five years. I don’t understand when people say it’s the weekend to Buy Blade And Soul Gold, Well when I work and the job has something special or its Christmas or labor day, people get overtime and work!.

Well this is a launch of a game, and you mean to tell me you guys are not even working on the weekend lol, idk..

I personally love the combat to death in Blade And Soul Gold

Overall, it’s meeting my expectations, but I definitely can’t see myself playing super-long term (6+ months) unless the 50 patch comes soon and they make some other improvements.

I’ve waited so long for this game… I was in high school when it was announced in 2009, and now I’ve finished college and am working, it’s pretty surreal to think about. I didn’t even try it in TW, CN, or JP either, I just waited patiently.

I personally love the combat to death. I’m moderately content with the current content at 45, but I can see it getting very old in the coming weeks. Arena is amazing, World PvP is complete shit. There needs to be some sort of balancing done class-wise, namely for Summoner. Also, I’m unsure if they can do any more optimization to Buy Blade And Soul Gold, but it would be great considering I have a decent rig and regularly am running 30-40 FPS in moderately populated areas, and dipping under 20 when there are mass amounts of people even with using CTRL + F and turning on “optimization for combat”.

If you ask about game performance, then it’s frustrating. Right now after few hours of playing with lags and delays I would literally murder any of NC employes hoping their sacrifice would lessen a bit game problems.

Didn’t come into this with super high expectations knowing the game play etc… My wanting to play this game is dying down a bit too, the low spawn rates of some mobs and the just the low amount of mobs in the area in general does make questing a huge pain, even on some quests when you have to activate something and then someone just stands there ready to steal the mob when it appears is frustrating.

How to lvl up until 40ish and then lvl up 2alts

If you wanna do it only for the profit it would be theoretically most efficient to lvl up until 40ish and then lvl up 2alts (while continuing to lvl your craftings on the main too – assuming you already did that parallel to the lvling grind; since the guy in the guide anyways does this too since the “first time” gatherings provide you a nice XP at all times).

This means:

– Rush to lv ~40ish (might do 41 or 42 depending on how you actually lvl’d.
– While doing so, grab your main crafting and gathering guilds (after milking all the guilds for the first gathering XP as suggested in the guild). Level up your crafting as much as you can while lvling up – so that you are as close as possible to Buy Blade And Soul Gold to craft the stuff you need to upgrade ur weapons at lv 40+ (Mainly Moonwater Evolve stones, since if you wanna be ahead of others – and at headstart you will be – there will be no stones to buy in the AH thus you have to craft them.)

– This is where the alts come in (if you play solo): only with your main you won’t be able to craft the stuff you need – because you need mats from other guilds too. Unless you have 2 more people who level up the other crafting and gathering guilds requiered to craft Moonwater Evolve stones simultaniously to ur own craft lvling, you will have to create at least 2 alts and level them up to around ~35-40 (not sure) to so they can access the parts of the map where they have to gather the “First timers” for lv3 crafting (which is required for Moonwater Evolve stones).

So let’s say you’r a Solo player. For profits and efficiency’s sake you will obviously not trade or buy mats with/from others. This means you will create 2 alts for the needed Crafting/Gathering skills. You will need around ~12h (depending on how experienced you are) for the main to reach ~40-41, then around 10-12 on each of the alts depending on the real level needed to acces the parts of the map as I said earlier. This adds up to around 36H, probably more tho because you are human and not a bot therefore bio-breaks for eating/taking a shit are needed (I think most people can go beyond 36h without sleep so i’m not gonna point that out).

Logically while leveling your alts your main will reach the Craft lvl required to craft the ingredients needed (at least the part the main can do) for the Evolve stones. While you level your 2nd alt your main can already be crafting his part while your 1st alt reaches the craft lv required to craft his part of the ingredients. And by the time your 2nd alt reaches the point where he can start crafting your main will be finished, and your 1st alt will at the very least have started crafting his part and be through a couple of hours already. 2nd Alt starts now crafting his part for the Evolve Stones.

Given that all of them are now finished with their Blade And Soul Power leveling parts of crafting the MW Evolve Stone (which is kinda unrealistic since just gathering the Correct Log already takes 20h and should therefore be either on your main or the 1st alt, then the refiner costs 12h to create – if we slightly overlap the times by a couple of hours maybe you get away with 28-30h at this point. And then creating the Evolve Stone itself costs 24h.) you could/should start getting the stuff together you need to upgrade your accesoires if you didn’t do it along the way – which you probably didn’t.
